Project Overview
The Farmanieh Project was developed as a residential and commercial building in one of Tehran’s well-known northern districts. Located on Farmanieh Street, across from Pak Dry Cleaning, the project covered an approximate area of 2,160 square meters and required an electrical execution approach that could support both private residential use and commercial functionality within the same building.
Although smaller in scale compared with large residential complexes or major administrative developments, mixed-use buildings require careful planning because different areas of the property serve different purposes. Residential spaces must support comfort, safety, lighting quality, appliance use, and daily convenience, while commercial spaces require reliable power access, operational flexibility, and stronger serviceability for business activities.
For this reason, the Farmanieh Project required electrical work that could balance both functions within one organized and dependable electrical framework.
Electrical Execution and Technical Scope
Mixed-use buildings require more detailed coordination than single-purpose developments. In the Farmanieh Project, electrical planning and execution needed to consider the separate requirements of residential and commercial areas while maintaining one consistent standard of safety, reliability, and organization.
The residential portions of the building required electrical systems suitable for everyday living, including lighting, receptacles, appliance power, distribution circuits, and safe final device installation. At the same time, the commercial portions required practical electrical infrastructure to support business operations, customer-facing areas, equipment usage, service needs, and ongoing daily activity.
The electrical execution for a project of this type typically includes:
- Power distribution for both residential and commercial areas
- Electrical panel organization and circuit separation
- Lighting systems for residential units, commercial spaces, corridors, and common areas
- Wiring routes designed around construction and architectural requirements
- Grounding and safety-related electrical infrastructure
- Electrical support for appliances, equipment, and business-use areas
- Switch, outlet, and final device installation
- Common-area electrical systems
- Coordination with construction, finishing, and interior layout requirements
- Maintenance-friendly installation for long-term serviceability
Because the building combined residential and commercial functions, careful circuit planning and organized execution were especially important. A mixed-use property must be able to serve different users without compromising safety, comfort, or operational reliability.
Project Coordination and Execution
For this project, electrical planning required close attention to how each area of the building would function after completion. Residential occupants need a safe, comfortable, and convenient electrical system, while commercial users depend on reliable power, accessible service points, and practical infrastructure that can support business activity.
Located in a premium district of Tehran, the project also required clean execution and strong attention to finishing quality. Electrical work in residential-commercial buildings must be completed carefully where wiring, lighting points, switches, outlets, and panels interact with finished walls, ceilings, storefront areas, interior design elements, and shared spaces.
Behsam Electric’s contribution to the Farmanieh Project reflects the company’s ability to work within these technical and practical requirements while maintaining organized installation standards.
Project Significance
The Farmanieh Project represents an important example of Behsam Electric Engineering & Technical Group’s experience in residential-commercial developments. Projects of this nature require more than standard electrical installation because multiple building functions must operate safely and efficiently within a single property.
By completing electrical work for a mixed-use building developed by Engineer Zanganeh and Engineer Raesie, Behsam Electric demonstrated its capability to support private development projects with reliable electrical infrastructure, technical discipline, construction coordination, and practical understanding of long-term building performance.
This project also highlights Behsam Electric’s early professional involvement in Tehran’s northern construction market, where quality, finishing coordination, and dependable execution are essential.
All in all, The Farmanieh Project is part of Behsam Electric’s residential and commercial project portfolio in Tehran. Completed during 1389–1391 SH, approximately 2010–2013, the project covered around 2,160 m² and was located at No. 371, Farmanieh Street, across from Pak Dry Cleaning, Tehran.
As a mixed-use residential and commercial building, the project required electrical systems capable of supporting private living spaces, commercial areas, common spaces, lighting systems, power distribution, grounding, wiring routes, and final electrical installation. Behsam Electric’s work supported the overall functionality of the building and contributed to a reliable electrical foundation suitable for both residents and commercial users.
The Farmanieh Project stands as another example of Behsam Electric’s commitment to safe, organized, and professional electrical execution, demonstrating the company’s ability to deliver dependable electrical infrastructure for mixed-use developments with precision, coordination, and long-term reliability.
